OUR TEAM
Each of our licensed massage therapists thrive in their own techniques and preferred bodywork modalities, however all are committed to providing McPherson quality massage. We are therapeutic-minded practitioners striving to provide in ways that truly help those in our community, be it chronic or acute physical pain, post surgery/ post injury healing, or stress and emotional focus. Elysium Studios also currently has two yoga instructors on our weekly yoga class schedule as well as a few great substitute teachers and workshop leaders and the best support staff we could ask for!!
Grace henderson l.m.t.
Owner/operator of Elysium Studios, Grace studied bodywork and anatomy with Body & Soul School of Massage and graduated in March of 2018, sitting for the MBLEx in July 2018. She also attended School Yoga Institute at their facility in Guatemala in the spring of 2018 and attained her 200 hour RYT certificate while there. In June of 2019 Grace became a certified DeepFeet Therapist through DeepFeet Bar Therapy at their training location in Denver, Colorado and has been thrilled to get to introduce this unique and extremely beneficial technique to many in her community. In June 2021, Grace attended M1 training through Graston Technique in Dallas, TX and now offers IASTM in her therapies as needed. She is a Level II Reiki practitioner, holds a certificate in Prenatal Massage, and several certifications through RockTape including RockTape kinesiotaping, RockPods/ cupping, and RockFloss. Grace enjoys learning about yoga asana and philosophy and is eager to share her growing knowledge with her students. She is a firm believer in the power of human touch and has observed first-hand the benefit of regular therapeutic massage. Grace is on a mission to provide a space for growth and healing in her community.
At this time, Grace’s practice is essentially full. However, she does maintain and utilize a Cancellation List as well as a Waiting List for those looking to become a regular client on a 2 or 4 week recurring schedule. tara tatro l.m.t.
Although Tara has owned and operated her own private practice in Kingman, KS for two years, she often finds herself in McPherson visiting family and as such, we are lucky to have her on our staff part time at Elysium Studios! She is a 2021 graduate from Body and Soul School of Massage and has furthered her education with a cupping therapy certification, Reiki II attunement, Raindrop Technique training, and SMRT. Something very unique about Tara is that she is the 2nd of three generations of massage therapists – all having graduated from Body and Soul School of Massage. Tara’s father and daughter are also both licensed bodywork professionals - an inspiring lineage! Tara sincerely believes that everyone can benefit from massage therapy and aspires to help each of her clients reach their utmost potential. In her free time, Tara enjoys spending time with her family and dogs as well as reading. At current, Tara is practicing in McPherson on Mondays and Fridays only so appointments are limited.
larry sigle l.m.t.
While Larry is an exceptional therapeutic massage practitioner for Swedish and deep tissue massage, he also specializes in Raindrop Technique. Raindrop involves applying pure, therapeutic grade essential oils to the spine, neck, and feet - along with targeted massage - to support body systems and bring balance and harmony to the body. Larry is currently accepting new clients and is happy to schedule evening and weekend appointments. Whether you're getting a massage to relax, ease pain, reduce stress, or want to try the Raindrop Technique, you will have a personal, one-of-a-kind experience.
Traci Hazelton L.M.T
Traci has been a massage therapist since 2008. Having graduated from Colby Community College she owned and operated her own massage practice for a few years before moving to the McPherson area. Currently Traci enjoys country living as she and her family own and operate a local farm. She loves to spend time outside on the farm with her family and all of their animals including cows, horses, chickens, dogs, and cats. We are elated to have Traci join our team here at Elysium Studios! She brings with her a passion for healing others through touch and years of experience working with various pain symptoms and ailments. darline - Studio manager
Darline is Elysium’s Studio Manager. She is the glue that holds the studio together and keeps everything running smoothly from behind the scenes. Chances are if you contact the studio, this is the great gal you get to talk to. Darline is also employed with USD 419 in the transportation department and loves getting to see her school bus kiddos every day. In her free time she thrives on bonding with her fur-babies and grand-babies, as well as creating memories through family gatherings. She also loves to travel whenever the opportunity arises. If you have any questions about massage, yoga, or the studio in general, Darline is more than happy to help you out.
Ericka Schroeder - Yoga Teacher
Ericka is excited to be teaching weekend mornings at Elysium Studios. A daily asana practice (that began over 1175 days ago now), and maybe a nudge or 2 led her to pursue a 200 hour yoga teacher certification from Kootenay Yoga School & Retreat Center in Isla Mujeres, Mexico in the fall of 2022. Her classes include many of the lessons, challenges, modifications, and creative sequences that she has attained through the discipline of her own practice over the last few years. Ericka believes yoga can unlock healing, truths & confidences from deep within. In her free time, Ericka enjoys walking her 3 big dogs, spending time with her family, reading, and baking and cooking delicious vegetarian food. We have been lucky enough to witness Ericka’s journey over the last few years and are thrilled to have her as a part of our team.
