There has been so much interest in our Begin at the Beginning Series that we have decided to halt sign-ups in order to maintain comfortable class sizes. However, if you are interested in this incredibly unique gateway into your own yoga practice, please use the sign up form at the bottom of this page to let us know. We will put you on a mailing list for the next unit of Begin at the Beginning to make sure you are at the top of the list! In the meantime, we welcome you to try one of our regular studio classes - Candlelight Calm Down is a great starting point for those who haven’t practiced in a while or are just getting into yoga. 5 week novice-level series

$40 for all 5 saturdays in march or $12 per class

Are you new to yoga or just re-entering your practice? Have you always wanted to try yoga but feel a little intimidated to step into a studio? Do you have a situation with your body that makes you believe you won’t be able to get into the poses or keep up with a class? We’ve got the perfect solution for you!

Our very own 200YTT Certified Teacher Shelley Kallsen wants to prove to people that yoga is truly accessible to everyone and is excited to guide students as they take potentially, their very first step onto a yoga mat. This 5 week series will be held on Saturdays in March in one of two session options: 8:45am - 9:45am or 10:30-11:30am, and has been programmed with intention as though every person in the room is a novice. You don’t have to know ANY yoga at all to attend, and we believe that by the time you finish the series, you will be ready to confidently step into any other studio class.

To get the most out of this series, we strongly suggest that you commit to all 5 Saturdays, however the classes have been set up as such that someone dropping in mid-way shouldn’t get lost. Starting from the very beginning, Shelley will introduce what yoga is and your goals for the series. You will be led through a warm up and cool down in every class and each week will introduce and break down different foundational poses, transitions, and breathing techniques, as well as leave room for student questions.
